In thankfulness for God's love, we seek to serve Christ in the community and world by responding to issues of justice, peace, hunger, and poverty.

The Mt. Hope Camp Streetneighborhood of Providence's East Side in which we are situated is one of great social and economic diversity and provides us with many opportunities for outreach.

Each Sunday, we include in our morning offerings gifts of nonperishable food items. These food offerings are contributed to the Camp Street Ministries located 4 blocks from our church. On the 3rd Saturday of each month, a crew from PPC works at the Camp Street Food Pantry, showing God's love to those in need.

Nine Twelve Step support groups meet throughout the week in our basement.

Over 15% of our annual budget goes to mission projects through Presbytery, Synod, and General Assembly, community and worldwide missions. We take up denominational offerings during the year, One Great Hour of Sharing during Lent, Peacemaking at World Communion and Christmas Joy offerings. At Christmas, we also provide an Alternative Giving Program, where one can honor friends and relatives with gifts to various mission programs, local and worldwide. 2009 Alternative Giving recipients are listed Nancy Collinshere

One of our members, Nancy Collins, serves in the Global Mission of the Presbyterian Church in Zambia as Regional Liaison for Central East Africa –linking with partner churches and institutions in Kenya, Malawi, Rwanda and Zambia.

College Fellowship is important to us as we welcome new and continuing students each year to the schools in our area. If you are a student new to the area, we offer a home away from home and a variety of opportunities for fellowship and mission off campus with other students.

Our relationships to immigrant ministry fellowships (Tumaini, Springfield, MA ) and churches (Christ is Life) in ourMission Trip presbytery are important places of connection and joint ministry.

An annual intergenerational summer mission trip and variety of youth missionDrumming teacher at refugee class opportunities through the year connect us to the world beyond Providence.

A week-long Summer Refugee Welcome Class with the International Institute of Rhode Island (IIRI) run by the church gives us the chance to welcome new refugees to the area. In addition, for several years we have been linked with a recently arrived refugee family through IIRI providing a Refugee Welcome ministry.
