Fellowship
after worship
|
We believe that Christ is
alive and that the Holy Spirit calls us together in fellowship to strengthen
and nurture the members of the community. In response, we offer a number of
activities and opportunities to be involved.
You are welcome to join committees of the Session or the Deacons. The Deacons
arrange for worship transportation and homebound visitation, prepare communion,
and arrange for greeters after worship. Committees of Session include: The
Nurture Committee, which oversees education and fellowship activities; The
Administration Committee, which is involved in maintaining the building, human
resource matters, and stewardship; The Outreach committee, which is involved
with evangelism and mission including quarterly "Members and Friends
Brunches"; and The Worship Committee, which oversees the worship life of
the congragation and its music.

Helping Hands |
There is a weekly prayer breakfast on Wednesday mornings at
7:30 a.m.
You may also volunteer with Head Start, reading to the
children or assisting them in various activities.
You are also encouraged to
initiate activities that fit your talents and interests. This might include such things as arranging hiking and camping trips, taking
youngsters to the museum, zoo, or skating, or arranging for special music for
worship, in coordination with the Pastors and the Director of Music.
